Lots of options for facelift sidemarkers have been popping up recently. Any opinions on these? I'm thinking the clear LED markers will look best on my white sedan.

I just gonna put LED bulbs in these instead of getting the LED sidemarker. My only concern is if the LED goes in the LED sidemarker, it's gonna be expensive to replace everytime vs. $2 of led bulbs

I have the smoked LED's on mine, and had them painted over as well.

Do you have a white W204 by chance? Could you take a pic?

I think only the last set would look nice on white... I'm not a big fan of the chromed bezel on the others. But $40 + $10 shipping ouch...

i have the smoked ones-amber on and man these are by far better looking than any out there. I have a black car so it's dark enough for the day but at night the LEDs look so bright and awesome!! I always notice the drivers next to me checking them out haha

No, I have a black car. I wouldn't recommend them on white. I'd go the non-smoked route.

Have these on my 2013 C250 COUPE --white. Look great. Clear w/amber bulb. No chrome trim. Bought on eBay for $50. Seller-- nikki-7002

6000k xenon bulbs which I might get another pair of 5000k instead

the LED bulbs in side markers are way too bright

Looks really good, I've got an extra set of 5000k LEDs so I'll probably use those. Do you know the regulations regarding colour of side markers in Canada? I don't think it'll influence my decision on bulbs much, just interested.

i dont think there is a regulation for side markers but for headlights, no blue or red

They aren't overly bright at night like the LEDs. I'm happy with the setup.

I've looked through http://www.tc.gc.ca/media/documents/...TSD_rev_5R.pdf and can't anything that specified an actual required color. It's more concerned with placement and candlepower.
I need to get rid of the heinous orange markers on the side of my car...just need to figure out what will look good against the silver paint...

That's interesting. I ran the following set for awhile. I really liked them, they came with "stealth chrome amber bulbs" which actually looked really nice in the dark.

I was in a front end collision which took out one of my sidemarkers, so I replace the set with a set of DEPO side markers which did not look as great, and which had 5000k LED bulbs. The extra set of LEDs on the front end is sort of overpowering, and pretty tacky in my opinion. The amber bulbs in my old set of clear side markers made a really nice, cool, amber glow, which accented the car nicely.

I prefer the old set with the amber bulbs, so I will likely be buying them again.

I'll have to do a search for a video on how to swap these out. I had the stealth bulbs on an older bimmer. Looked pretty good. Yours looks pretty sharp. How is your OE Tune doing for ya? I'm still thinking about getting it done. I can drive over to Huntington Beach in about 4 hrs. Moneys not right yet and I worry about possible warranty issues later. If I still have this car in 2.5 yrs when the CPO runs out, I'll most certainly be getting it done.

I just purchased these side markers off ebay. It's stated plug and play I hit the purchase button real quick! Later reading recommend professional installation?! ****! They have arrived and looking at the wiring there's double the wires. I was hoping someone has done this and provide some pics and insight.

I saw those and they look very nice, but pricey. It should be the one to an LED like the DRL and one to the turn signal.
