Which Wax to Use ? Available World Wide.
I need a new bottle of duco wax & would grateful of advice.
Longevity is a large factor as I will only use it twice a year.
My process is to wash & then wax once. No other bull sh#t.
The wax needs to have absolutely no abrasives.
Australian availability.
I see that Nulon Polymer Finish has long lasting protection.http://www.eziautoparts.com.au/nufinish-car-polish.html
Thank you.

Can't address availability down under, but Collinite 845 was recommended to me on this forum, and has proven to be easy to use, with great results, and quite durable. Don't be put off if you see it described as "insulator wax". It appears to have been put to automotive use after its capabilities were discovered from its original purpose.

Collinite 845 is nearly without peer in terms of durability for a wax. You should easily get 4-6 months use out of it. Sealants as mentioned are another good option which offers about the same durability timelines. It comes down to what look you're going for. Collinite will give you a warmer deeper look while a quality sealant (I'm a fan of Blackfire Wet Diamond) will give you a hard candy shine.

Carsy I recommend you clay the car and glaze it before applying the wax instead of just washing and then waxing. But if you are only going to wash then wax collinite is the better choice as a sealant may not bond well

Word of advice with using Collinite. It had a tendency to harden while not in use. Before using, run some hot water in the wash bin with the closed bottle in it and let it soak for a minute. Then pull it out and shake till you get a nice liquid state. And make sure you go thin with it. Don't just glob it on like a cheap wax. It will make the buffing out process much easier.

Wolfgang makes some good products (huge fan of their Fuzion wax), but not so much on their polish.
Here's what I think on that kit...
PC 7424 is a good solid beginner machine. It's near impossible to burn your paint with that, but after a year or two of using it, you'll want something with more power for faster work. The more powerful machines (I use a Flex XC 3401) are safe to use though as long as you don't do anything stupid with it, but PC is definitely pretty idiot proof.
Pad wise, I'd stick with Lake Country CCS pads or flat pads, but not the 6.5 pads they have in the kit, and especially not with the PC machine because the PC doesn't have enough power to properly use 6.5. 5.5" pads are better option.
For polish, especially on the hard paint w204 uses, I'd recommend Menzerna Power Gloss and Power Finish. Those work well for our paint from my experience. Anther decent option are the Meguiar twins M105 and M205 which also work decently well.
The Wolfgang sealant are ok, but there are better options for the price. As mentioned, Blackfire Wet Diamond is my favorite sealant.
The Wolfgang detailer is nothing to write home about also. The best quick detailer I've ever used (I've used a ton) is still Finish Kare 425.

i love mother's 3 step sealant wax. The carnuba smells amazing like banana icecream haha. I know there's new stuff out there but always loved that product for a nice shine without breaking the bank on Zymol

I used the Collinite Insulator Wax yesterday. It went on easily enough a panel at a time & looked good when finished.
Now to see how it lasts.
Thanks to all for your help.
