If you're keeping your pre-FL bumper make sure it's the sports bumper/amg pack, the one without the horrid chrome strip on the bottom then you can buy the DRL's like mine. Unless you get a FL bumper then just get be OEM DRL's and a controller loom

Yeah I'm pretty sure mine is the sports cause it has the sports grill and no chrome strip , and the drls like yours if I install those , would this look any thing like the facelift bumper ? Cause the markers would still be different in the side right, what are you're thoughts ?
It would look exactly the same except those aftermarket DRL's that fit our pre FL bumpers have 7/8 Leds, when the OEM's have 4 leds
We don't have side markers on our bumpers here in the UK, or did you mean indicators?
There the amber lights on each side of the bumper , might be signals for you guys there marker lights here , our signals are in the headlights only . And can you provide me links you think on how they both would look FL bumper and DRL on our stock sport bumpers

Nah we don't have those horrid Amber markers on our bumpers. Our bumpers are flush, only orange on my front end is the indicators, or should I say on mine I have silver bulbs so I can't see orange. As you can see on the two pics of my car...
There's links online just Google DRL 2007 onwards pre FL. They're exactly the same the bumpers for both Facelift and Pre, the FL OEM DRLs have more LEDs that's all. FL bumper doesn't have anything in the fog slot, and has a skit on the side of it for the OEM DRL to slide in. On the pre FL bumper there is still a 'structure' in the fog insert, which would need to be cut to put in the aftermarket DRLs I bought for my pre FL bumper

oh haha we have markers on each side. but in general might not look that bad, ill see when i go find a hood and how much a facelift bumper would be along with it before i order the lights, i hope its not to much of a pain in the *** to wire the DRL in cause existing fogs aren't DRL's
I have a set, tested and all functions work fine. Just need to install the appropriate body parts when I get a chance. You will however need the halogen adapter from prefacelift to facelift, available from the Kabeldaviko website
you can always switch de cutter in the lens so its ok for RHD
Isn't that something you would have to open up the headlight to do? I'd really rather not tamper with them and just plug and play, that's why I'm looking for something thats already skewed the correct way.
I meant RHD as in my steering is on the right side. I'm in Australia so we drive on the left side of the road.
But those headlights from the eBay link are skewed properly to drive on the left side? If that's the case, going to buy a set of those next!
If that's the case you can buy from winpower then, we drive on the left, steering wheel is on the right hand side, don't buy from that United States link!

I've been looking at the Win Power version for a while, since the Depo headlights have known unresolved shutter problems and in general seem hit-or-miss quality. I found the Win Powers at ECS below (recently were 10% off at $630) https://www.ecstuning.com/Mercedes_B...hts/ES2975825/
They are certainly intriguing with the mounted ballasts, perfect (IMO) 5000K bulbs, and the "Intelligent Light System" written on the chrome rings of the projector housing (not identical to OEM as it doesn't say Mercedes Benz, but probably not noticeable until you take a really close look) as can be seen in ash59's pics. I like having the text but the chrome ring is def a bit thinner than the Depo ones, which is thicker like OEM, so it's kind of a toss up which one is more OEM-looking with both being 99% similar.
I'd love to try them but there's no reviews to base a decision on, and reviews of Win Power headlights for other cars are pretty mixed. It's just tough to say how much problem-free use you would get out of these, I'll probably wait to see if we can get any data points on how well these work.

I might give these a try. DEPO ones are garbage, after having troubles with condensation, highbeam shutter sticking 100% of the time and now the inner 'C' LED not working, mine went in the trash already.
