The battery is nearly 6 years old & may need replacing.
Did you leave any electrical equipment on ? .
Careful when jumpstarting . Make sure your key is removed from ignition before attaching the jumper leads. SAMs can be damaged by voltage spikes.
If you have to replace the battery make sure it is of the correct amperage & of the AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt type.
Good luck.
My headlight switch was malfunctioning and it often left my passenger side eyelid bulbs on. When I returned to my car after 4 days, it would not respond at all, but lucky for me, MB roadside replaced the battery under warranty.
Besides taking your key out of the ignition, also make sure to remove the car's battery terminals before jumping it, that's exactly what MB roadside did for me. (Probably to avoid damaging any of the electrical parts of the car like the SAM module)

Then undo the 3 clips holding the black part in place.
After removing the black cover, get a wrench and unplug the car from the battery completely.
After the terminals are removed from the battery, jump the battery and let it charge for a bit.
After charging the battery briefly, you should be able to start the car again, but the battery will probably need to be replaced or trickle charged, depending on the condition of the battery.

To me it will make no difference to initially attach the live jumper leads to a flat battery .
Both methods will result in an initial voltage surge .
I am positive my car does not have 2 batteries.
John.
