bi-xenon headlights swap out
I have an 08 c300 with bi-xenons and I'm in the process of doing the facelift to 2012. Will I be able to use a set of oem 2012 bi xenons or will I have to use a different set of headlights similar to the ones on ebay without the bi xenon.
Thanks

You would have to do some significant wiring and module replacement along with a new windshield, camera, etc for them to work to their full potential.
The 2012 bi-xenons have the adaptive high beams as well as adaptive cornering lights built in. I'm not sure if the plugs would match up - and if they did I would imagine it would be nothing but error codes.

There email is mbenznl@gmail.com
In my opinion, he is the guru of Mercedes retrofits. I am in the middle of adding the Intelligent Lighting System (ILS) code 622 into my car. I have all the wiring done and the headlights are installed. Just have to get the new windshield so that I can mount the multi-function camera to it, then have the modules configured at the dealer.

Sometimes it takes Steve time to respond to emails. He may be on the road with installs or he may be on vacation.
