Anyone tried this? There's no hardware installation just override with software.

I just received and installed this NEW VIM cable from Vlad in Belarus. It uses a mini board that is almost invisible. (Hold hang up for 6 seconds to turn on or off). I installed that and a $25 backup camera.

Oh Looks like the price just went up a bit.

It doesn't say for EURO COMAND only. Seems like lots of BMW guys are using it

I agree, considering it is a software only solution (they don't need to buy the wiring harness, connectors, or ICs) and it is locked to your VIN, $99 would be the most I'd pay for this. Otherwise I'd prefer one of the hardware solutions like the one benzdude posted since you can take it out and use it on your next vehicle (or sell it on).

I'm from Germany and looking on this page since some months.
It is really cool how much information this forum has.

My question is regarding the DVDinmotion. Did somebody install this software in his W204?
Im figthing with myself to buy it, but until know Im not sure to do it. (Worry to lost much money for nothing)
