Where can I find this grill

I am looking for a black avantgarde grill for my facelift 2012 C250. The only one I have been able to find is the one from 55tech. However he is telling me he isn't sure about fitment since it is for 08-11 w204. Does anyone know if this will in fact fit without modification, and/or where to purchase one that will fit a 2012?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Why not just plasti-dip your grill? It'll save a whole lot of money

It should fit. I just used a 2014 grille on my 09 c-class and fits like a glove.

I thought about that but I drive a lot of miles and really didn't want to deal with rock chips.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about rock chips on plasti-dip it is pretty forgiving. I sprayed a luxury grill and it's been a solid year and a half, no chipping. I do quite a bit of driving as well.

Does anyone know where to get the exact grille in the pic? Its obviously a C63 single fin grille, but it has to fit the pre-facelift C350, and if you notice it doesn't have the surround that sits flush against the hood/bumper (or if it does, it isn't noticeable) it sort of looks like it is floating in the opening. Others that I have seen have a very noticeable part that goes around and sits flush against the hood and bumper, almost like two more fins. I want the one without this part, and the star and fin have to be chrome, everything else can be black.

Anyone have experience with this exact grille I described and posted the pic of that is of decent quality?

Dipped

Skipped on the grill for now. Went ahead with the dip to see how it fares. Did the daytime running lamps too.

Looks great, I should dip my DRL chrome aswell, its standing out too much.

BTW if possible, could you take a close up on the finish of your grille? In the light, my plasti-dip appears quite rough and you can see the small lumps on some areas

cksperformance.com Have it on my 2014 C350 Coupe. Perfect fit. Changed out old grill in 10-15 min.

Check sig. I got the c63 version from 55tech. That grill you posted with single fin looks like the sl or slk grill single fin grill which is different then the C63.

Dame, does your grille use a regular W204 star, identical to the one in the original grille? I ask because I want an aftermarket grille, but have an illuminated star.

Theres the grill CKSPerformance references as a "C63 style" grille for prefacelift, and it looks almost exact as the one I posted. Maybe it's not the C63 style and they have it misrepresented, but it's the one I want so it works for me

Also it looks very similar to the one in your sig. What exactly are the differences? (Im assuming they are subtle and you can't see them without being close up?) Maybe it's that the fin on the grille I referenced is a lot wider?

Funny you asked. My mb star was stolen when I was at a busy mall in Va. I tried to put my OEM grill star on it and it didn't fit. I asked 55tech what mb star he uses and found out it's the one for ML trucks. Found a deal on eBay for the ML star and it was a perfect fit.

So to answer your question, your OEM illuminated star for the w204 would not work/fit.

Interesting. I'll look around for a deal on a ML illuminated star if I'm planning to get this grille.
