We can hope. The W166 ML and the non sport package GL's don't come with dual exhaust. Adding a dual exhaust setup can be pricey the "standard way". For example, on a ML costs are roughly $300 tips, $700 rear apron/diffuser, $1500 muffler, etc.

Managed to get the dual exhaust sorted yesterday. I was given the option of putting small mufflers near to the rear end of each pipe but tried it without 1st and it isn't too loud. Car now seems to have a nice deep grumble and isn't over the top with the straight pipes. The pipes that the garage has used aren't that big, so that has surely helped. Think I actually prefer your tips as they slope downwards, looks more factory fitted and subtle. Let me know what you think of the pics

I noticed some BMW 5 series did not have dual exhaust That's sad.

 

Hello, For those of you that have done this mod, what did you need to do to hang the right side muffler? My quick look under there looks like a hanger needs to be welded to the frame?
