I have about a month off for christmas and new years so I figured I'll take on a few projects for my car to keep me busy. So I decided to wrap my headliner, pillars, and rear deck in suede. I was going to use alcantara tell I found out it was over $100.00 a yard! So I went on eBay and got 5 yards of some cheep $14.00 a yard suede with foam backing. It turned out pretty good, I ended up with a few wrinkles. I added the dove grey door panels, but on going to remove them and go back to all black. I'm really tempted to do the dash but in black leather. But I think I will be biting off more than I can chew... Sorry about my car being a little dirty.
WOOOOOW thats way to much suede for me, but hey it looks cool. Just make sure to steam vacuum it to make it looks really clean, and then it will look great.
Great job, I was looking for info about this. Did you remove the old fabric or glue over it? The stock fabric was that weird perforated cheap feeling stuff?
I like it, very different. Did you cover the moonroof shade?
If so, any difficulty opening the shade? I wonder if it could have any effect on airbags deploying.

Thanks! I did not remove the old fabric. Would have been a lot more work. My stock fabric was nice but the suede looks much better. If you need any help feel free to PM.

Thanks! I do not have a moon roof, I did cover my sun roof cover. Not any more difficult to open. From what I saw it will not affect the airbags deploying.

Thanks! I did do it by myself. Pretty good about of work but do able.
I was a little bored last night so I took apart my old OEM head lights and decided to paint them back. I currently have spyder headlights. I have gone through two sets. Very very poor outer shell! they are peeling! Very happy to see them go! I hated the old eye brow lights so I added leds.
Dose anyone know what Ohm resistor I should use to not get a error message with my eye brow lights?
I don't know what you mean by premium. It's far from that. There are creases all over the place. Not trying to be rude at all. But I give you an A for effort. I also like the idea. So A for creativity. If I would have done it myself it would of looked horrific!!

If I had a second person I probably would have had a lot less creases. Hard to get it perfect with one person. I'd say its premium of a 18 year old kid who has never done this before hahaha. But in reality its far from professional. Its really hard to see the imperfections because I have dark tint. Almost all the imperfections are in the back so I can't even see them when I'm driving and I'm alone in the car 99% of the time.
Tomorrows project will be putting on the headlights, adding a new head uint, new door speakers, new amp, and add a tiny sub (for a little more kick)
