Can anyone tell me when to change the timing belt/change on C230 2006 106K

afaik there is no set schedule to replace the timing chain. It is within the crank case

No problem. Here is the a PDF copy of the maintenance booklet, which doesn't mention the timing chain at all actually.

edit: I just noticed you have a 2006 C230, which is actually a w203 model and not w204, so the pdf might not completely apply to your vehicle. I'd say check out the w203 forum to be sure, however the C230 has the same engine as some of these w204 models anyway. (M272 engine, timing chain the same etc)

How do I set timing for my c230 2007 AMG pls help

Hi guys I am finding it difficult to time and start my c230 AMG 2007 after a cylinder head job , the car just won't start ,did I miss out some things???

Well, if you find it difficult to establish the timing, which is a physical marked out process, either your markings or process is wrong, thats where you should concentrate on.

Thanks bro I have uploaded the markings I got when I put the crank pulley on 40° ,is this correct or I should change the intake cam on the passenger side to meet exactly with the exhaust cam ,pls zoom on the picture to see well

Sorry I am just pressed about this issue pls help I can't afford to take the car to a specialist in Nigeria here it will cost a fortune , u can help me , I have uploaded the pictures of what we got after timing the left and right cylinder
