Plasti Dip 2008 C300 Sport
I haven't seen anyone post of having there whole car dipped. it was hard choosing a color but i decided to do Blue (world rally blue), because i have never seen a blue C300.
I dip my car for this winter and so far am impressed, it holding up no problem.

Corrected my post. How do you think it will hold up? I plasti dipped my grill and bottom center of my bumper and so far it's been almost a year and still holding. The problem with plasti tip I noticed is once a corner or an area starts peeling, it will keep expanding.

yes you are correct the corner are the most vulnerable, the few spots i do have problems are by the door handle, and one area by the bumper air vent. but over all its holding up nicely.

I think it looks good from the pics. How does it look and feel in person? That color is sweet by the way! You should black out off the chrome trim around the windows and remove the lower chrome strip on the bottom of the doors.

I did flex blue on mine with gloss and honestly it held up well, but the car always looked like crap. i had it peeled after only a few months because everyone would ask me what was wrong with my paint..

To be fair though, the glossifier in general makes things look horrible. Although I'm not a fan of the matte look, that's Plastidip at it's best.

How many layers have you plasti dipped.
I have plastidipped both my grill and mirrors they were holding up fine for about 2 years, but I had to do like 4-5 layers.
none the less it looks really good!

Looks good. The pic of it all still masked made me say "oh no! It looks like it's covered in boue painters tape!" But the finished product looks much nicer. Well done.

in person it feels soft the only problem was the hood witch it feels a little rough, it was hard to get a clean heavy coat on it. but over all the whole car feel soft no problem with that.

in total to get the best result it was almost 7 layers of dip, the recommended is about 5-7 for the size of my car, witch will make the removing process much easier and also help protect the paint.
