What happened to the Eurocharged C300/C350 ECU tune groupbuy thread?
What looking to see if there where any updates on dyno results but it seems the discussion thread is no longer there? Has the groupbuy been cancelled?

Looks like it is gone. I know in the original thread they had said originally the group buy would be through the end of March, so maybe they're just waiting until they actually have dyno's posted for the tune to open a new thread? That's my guess

I took advantage of it, despite having no dyno results to back it up. I purchased mine the first week of April - they honored the group buy price. In a post in the original thread, it was stated that they would extend the group buy price thru the month of April.

Maybe after scuba and eurocharged did their dynos, the results wasnt close to 330 hp. So instead of posting the results, they either deleted the thread or disappeared then to admit the true results.

I'd be interested in feedback on this thread from anyone else who has rec'd the same tune.

I can assure you that my C300 is not making 330 hp. A ~50 hp increase to C350/E350 specs on the basis of all three cars running the same power-plant was all I anticipated - anything more (i.e. 305-330+) would have been icing. I don't believe E.C. has cracked the code as yet, or the de-tune on the C300 3.5L is rooted in more than just what the ECU is allowing.
I'd be interested in feedback on this thread from anyone else who has rec'd the same tune.

otherwise this thread makes me sad :[ i might just get the ECU tune and dyno it myself for the real answer.

I don't know why we don't even have before and after time slips. Those are frigging easy to get and would give at least some indication of the power change in an objective measure.

I'm agreeable to having the car dyno'd - I'd prefer a recommendation from a local (to me) forum member. The dyno would need to be performed on a weekend in the afternoon due to standing commitments. SF Bay Area - East Bay.

Maybe they had it deleted because there was a lot of confusion as to how long the group buy was going to be on for, coupled with not having the dyno results in the first post plus a couple other posts. I'm sure they'll put it up again.

We can't delete a thread that we didn't create. It was created by a forum user.
Our car that was coming in to dyno was totalled, so if there is another in the houston area let us know. We can offer free dyno runs.

I wondered about that, which is why I said "assuming they deleted it themselves." So, clearly not bad form on your part. We are all looking forward to seeing the dyno results!

JR,
Have you checked yelp? You might get more feedback on where to dyno your vehicle. http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc...find_desc=dyno
loungn14,
Thanks for clearing things up.

Today is unfortunately the last day of the group buy. I was really hoping that we would've had results but the people who claimed to have had theirs tuned have disappeared off the face of the Earth, not a huge surprise to me.
To be honest it's crazy how different this community is from say the Subaru or BMW community that has tons of information, graphs, dyno results and companies more than willing to tune even something as crappy as a 320i.

I too would have loved to throw an extra 50 ponies into the grocery getter. Instead I think I will replace my E46 with an E92 and put these performance mods elsewhere

I'm dismayed as well by all this...you would think that a company that sells performance enhancements would show proof of their enhancements.
Then again, I'm the guy that gambled on the Kleemann eco retune and won...lol

Confuses the hell out of me since how the hell did they develop the ECU tune without the car on a dyno in the first place? You'd think that they'd have dyno runs as a byproduct of the R&D.

...you'd have to ask them why not.
