2007 w204 c class

Hi everyone! I need your help. I purchased a used c200 2007 model w204 last week. When i purchased i got it checked and its all body parts were in genuine paint except the front bumper and from whom i purchased he told me that he replaced the bumper due to some scratches ( as per him) and while fitting the bumper back they forgot to plug in the front left crash censor which is behind the bumper thats why the screen is showing restraint system malfunction and air bag light was showing and was still not flashing. After plugging the grip in the censor the restraint system malfunction was removed and srs airbag light started to flash when removed again it again got still and showed of restraint system maalfunction on screen and then i plugged it in back. After taking it to a local workshop they checked it with DAS and told me and i personally saw that there were no fault codes in airbag section and after even resetting everything there were no F or i on DAS in the entire car. I have also disconnected battery terminal but it didn't helped as well.
Please can any one help me with that what's the issue.

Same on my 2008 220CDI. It comes on when the driver is buckled up. No fault codes. The prospect of getting it rectified at the dealership is scary. Hope someone here has some clues.

Out Of Control!!

The thought of someone owning a W204 with no diagnostic tools\no understanding of the cars systems is also very scary as there is not a large enough shade tree available to fix the problems!!

This is a common issue on some of the w204's. Lots of times its just a dirty connection under the seat. Unbolt the drivers seat and unplug the plugs to the seat belt system and make sure they are clean inside and plugged back in correctly.

Idk when I had mine it would show on the dash off and on. Took it to the Benz dealer to my buddy and he did not even scan it. He just simply cleaned the plug and made sure it was put back in correctly.

Like you said, the yellow coupler under the seat. Found a wire that was a little loose. Have ordered for a new coupler and pins/clips, just to be on the safer side. Costs nothing.
Cheers.
