So I just purchased a 2013 C300 and THE GODDAMN SEATS DON'T FOLD DOWN

So, has anyone every installed the fold down seats from a model that had them, or modified them in anyway to accomplish this?


Side note: What kind of luxury car doesn't come standard with memory seats? My Grand Cherokee has Memory seats

That's one of the reasons I traded my 09 for a 13 -- I didn't know how many options I was missing until about 2 weeks after purchasing the 09. It's really annoying.

There's a thread somewhere around here about retrofitting and, if I recall correctly, someone has done it successfully. Try the search function.

i'm having the opposite problem. I just bought a c63 coupe seats and it fold down but then won't fold back up.

Oh my comment was to the OP not you jas0ndotc0m. When you go look at a car you might buy checking to see if both rear seats, just one rear seat or neither fold down.

How do the c300 seats fold down (if the car has that option)?

This was always one of my pet peeves about how idiotic this car was (along with cheap door pins)..... why aren't seats that fold down standard....
