Rear view camera 2009 C350
I've read many threads about how to install rear view camera, but these threads don't give me the answers. I have some questions to ask you:
1) Someone from Sweden installed OEM equipment (camera, cables, etc) in his Mercedes and they work great. He listed the parts: camera, two harness cables and voltage regulator. Do I need a voltage regulator? See his thread here.
2) I might go with this route by using OEM parts, except for the camera. Will the Kenwood-brand camera work with OEM parts, like cables and voltage regulator? I'm not sure if one of these OEM cables is FARKA?
3) After I install parts in my car, will I get red/yellow/green lines on my screen and will it "move" to the right or left, depending on the steering wheel? My car is a 2009 model year. These red/yellow/green lines were produced by the camera? or the software/hardware inside of COMAD unit?
thanks!

Save your money and yourself from trouble and just use the cheap camera. I have mine for 3 years now and it has survived the Canadian weather without a problem (car is parked outside all the time). Most of the camera on ebay have the built-in lines. You need to find or "ask" the vendor if they can supply you one without lines so that you can enable it from your command. I bought two kinds of these cheap cameras, one with lines and one without just to see the difference and I do like the one with the built-in lines more.
