Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I have a c200 kompressor 2009 whic I imported from Japan to my country, Myanmar. Being right hand drive it comes with a pole sticking out of the left hand corner when I turn the ignition to acc. Now its briken and can anybody help me what is wrong and how to fix it.

A picture of the "pole" Would be helpful so we know what you are talking about.

 

You can see the stump on the bumper. Previously a pole comes out when ignition is in acc.

 

Looks like a headlight washing system but I could of sworn it was behind that cap.

 

Its not head light washer nor factory fitted. Its retrofitted to help judge the left hand corner of bumper. You can see it sticking out in this picture.

It's pretty unique to the Japanese market. I doubt you'll find much info on this. I'd start by checking the electrical system and the motor on that pole. you'll probably have to take the bumper off to get at it.

Curious what the VIN # is for these cars that have the pop up flag holders. I cant find them in my parts diagrams.

I think those are so you have an accurate reference of where the car's corner is. Make sense in Japan where space is at a premium and close quarters driving a necessity.
