The quad tips are from www.topspeedauto.com They offer them in burnt tip style like the one I have, and a regular polished tip as well.
Really disappointed about the sound it's wayyy to loud in the car. Thus making it sound like a Honda driven by a 16 years old.
BUT omg on the highway it's so mean and sounding perfect.
So what I did I bought 2 magnaflow 11226 and waiting for them to get delivered.
I'll do this install and let it this way hopefully getting a bit more sound than with the X pipe + stock mufflers.
I'll keep you in touch.
Thank you all

I’m glad I didn’t have my secondary cats removed but honestly I liked the sound outside the car with that done. I think the drone would’ve drove me nuts though.
Here’s a tip..or at least what I did.. I ordered my MF 11226’s on Amazon for about $90 ea so obviously at that price they won’t be polished, and with that muffler, to install it correctly, they have to be angled up toward the quarter panel on their axis about 15-20 degrees and you’ll be able to see a portion of them since the tips will no longer ‘hide’ them. So I grabbed some high temp black paint and spayed them so they won’t be noticeable. If they’re polished, awesome! But if they’re not, they will show oxidation/rust and wear and will be visible so that was my solution.

I mean the 11365 is shorter what's the difference between the 11226 I tried to look but seems the 11365 is not available !

Is this why he used the 11365 over the 11226 parts ?
Thank you for your time !!
Will let them go for cheap. If you're local and have a 220 outlet I can plug my welder into, I'll give them to you for free.
Even better if you already have a welding setup (and wouldn't mind welding back on my OEM mufflers lol)

Yours is rear wheel drive I assume since you have the megan racing coilovers. How do you like those? Mine is 4matic so won't be getting them, but just wondering if they are any good. Do you know of any suspension mods for my 4-matic I could have installed?
As to suspension components for the 4Matic, H&R makes springs for them but they’re not super low. I personally like them because I’m up at the mountain about 30-40 times in the winter so I didn’t want my car slammed. Some say they’re not low enough but I disagree. My car is lower than the Sport model and I can still drive in the Mt. Baker parking lot after 8”+ of new snow.
Also, there is an option for coilovers for the 4matic. Flatout Suspension makes a set of coilovers and the quality is great. Google them, and if you have any questions they respond right away via text or email. They’re made to order so they take about 3 weeks but they’re worth it. And the price is very reasonable-to-inexpensive.

I must have browsed 1000 sites, setups, sound clips and read through most of this thread and others here on MBWorld, and have landed on 2 setups:
ARH Headers + Remus catback:
Unfortunately, Remus is a gongshow and months of Backorder clients are going Meisterschaft. Also ARH isn't selling anything compatible at this time.
So here's my plan:
- MBH Headers
- MBH High Flow Cats
- 2.5" pipe
- Magnaflow #10791 X-pipe
- Either:
- Magnaflow 11386 Stainless Steel 2.5" Oval Muffler (just to tone down a bit, may delete this later)
or
- 2x Vibrant 1792 Bottle Style Resonator (just to tone down a bit, may delete this later)
- Meisterschaft 4x120x80 CO axelback
- Meisterschaft Glossy black tips
- Stage 2 Tune
- Jcsportline Carbon Fiber Rear Lip Dual Outlet Diffuser
Hoping for +150whp when done... although +100whp would be good enough.
Feedback?

Although I have seen a “faux ‘burble’ tune” available for the 272, as well as many other naturally aspirated engines. That one seriously made me laugh out loud 🤣
