Despite being the same size the car would not move at all. Also the front bolts sit far deeper inside the wheel then the rear lug bolts. Why is this?

Measured them by hand and realized that the chrome bolts thread is 1"/25.4 while the oem bolts are closer to .93"/23.6mm

Still don't understand why such a small difference would make the car immovable.

Be glad the car didn't move. Those lug bolts look cheap and don't even look right?
If you're using stock wheels, they should be Ball seat. Hard to tell with the chrome lugs, they possibly look cone seated.
Please don't cheap out on lug bolts. They hold the wheels to the damn car. I'll spend 100+ on quality lug bolts if necessary, or just keep the stock lugs.

They had decent reviews on amazon. I e-mailed the manufacturer of my rims and they said I needed conical lug bolts.

Regardless of how cheap the bolts are what size lug bolts will work? I know OEM is 14x1.5 but how long is the shank? 27mm?

19x8.5 and 19.9.5, I believe 45 and 48mm offset

The back bolts (oem) sit flush while the front sit much deeper. I want to try and find bolts that will sit flush with the face of the rim in both front and back. Not sure if it's even possible to find extended head bolts that fit.

My aftermarket rims definitely look like they use conical, which corresponds with what the manufacturer said.

Take a closer look. The replacement bolts have a different angle on the heads that'll make it go in further.

Hmm yeah one is conical which I was told I needed for my aftermarket rims, but I'm still surprised that small of a changed made the car immobile. I'm not sure what size of bolt I need. At this point I am thinking about doing the lug bolt to lug nut conversion.

The chrome ones I bought were 1.1"....27.94 on aftermarket rims that use conical lug bolts. I don't get why they didn't fit????
