2010 C300 Extended Warranty after 84 months ?
We have a 2010 C300 purchased in Feb 2010, with a 84 month/75000 mile extended warranty purchased through our dealer, with Interstate National Dealer Services.
The car is a low mileage vehicle with maybe 35,000 miles, and we are considering keeping it for a few more years.
Does anyone know if there are any other extended warranties for months 85-120 (or close to it).
Any advice would be appreciated.

I can't tell from your posting if you purchased your C300 from a Mercedes dealer. I say this because Mercedes does offer an extended two year unlimited mile warranty. I purchased one recently from Jeff Jackson <jjackson@TafelMotors.com>
you could e-mail him and ask.

I purchased it new from a MB Dealer in 2010 with a 7 year/100k warranty.
I am looking to extend for another 3 years (to the 10th year). Mileage is not a big deal for me.
This is a very low mileage vehicle. Only about 35,000 miles so far.
Thanks.

I would think with a car getting older the cost of a warranty would be pretty high. Your mileage is very low and if you have kept up with all the maintenance and the car has been reliable up to this point you may want to consider just putting that money aside in case something might happen. If it is worth it for your peace of mind to be under warranty, I can certainly understand that, but for the cost it would cost you to purchase that kind of extended warranty at this point it might be worth the gamble to not extend it further.

I have been offered an add'l 3 years (or 30,000 miles) for $4266.
I don't have the full list of exclusions etc yet.
I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.

I know for me it would not be. If you drive the maximum amount the car would still only have 65,000 miles even though it would be 10 years old. As long as you have otherwise maintained it and the car is running well that would be a lot of money you could put to any repairs that might come up in those three years short of some catastrophic engine or driveline failure. Could that happen? Sure it could. Likely? With a well maintained car, not likely. Is $4200 worth your peace of mind? Only you can answer that.

I paid $1968.37 for the two year unlimited mileage warranty from Mercedes. My dealer wanted $2800. Considering that some people have had a problem with their transmission, the starting module, and have paid thousands of dollars to fix them. I look at it as cheap insurance.
E-mail Jeff and speak to him he will explain all the details or you can go to the Mercedes site and read about what is included.
