Got the tips off a member here who sells them on ebay. I forget his username though.

Thanks. It's a little different being its a 2014 C300 so its the 3.5l vs the prefacelift C300's being 3.0l.

I mean stock for stock they aren't all that slow. I torched a modded 2013 WRX and "full bolt on" Passat so far. For not doing a single performance mod I was surprised.

C250 Dual Tip on Single Stock Exhaust?

This is so low tech / small change a matter I sadly suspect there's not enough interest to generate someone coming up with a product.

I have a 2012 C250 with the stock single oval exhaust tip on the left. It comes off of the oval exhaust pipe with a simple set screw . What I'd like to get is a dual round exhaust tip that fits onto the stock oval exhaust pipe with the same set screw set up as the stock one.

Does anyone know of such an item? Do any stock MBs have an exhaust on one side with dual round tips?

Thanks!

Doing the Resonator delete X pipe install this weekend on my C350 coupe. Ordered a CF diffuser and need new tips. I see there are Y and H style tips. Which one works best with the diffuser. Don't want to order the wrong one. Thanks

They both work. I'm running the "h".

That sounds great. When doing the X pipe. Do you put the X closer to the secondary cats or further away?

I think that's my favourite sounding one so far. What kind of mufflers did you use?

I put the X pipe basically where the secondary cats would have been.

Thanks alot dude. Yeah its just every thing deleted from the faux cats back. With 3" piping off the cats. X pipe in place of where the faux cats were.

The tips are by dynomax. I rly liked dynomax tips the quality and price are really good. Thats the pt# 36505

They have a 12" 2.5" inlet one that looks the exact same but longer but 3" i believe.

I honestly prefer my tips to b bigger then 3.5". These ones arw 4.5"

I installed the X pipe yesterday as well as some new quad tips to go with new diffuser. I have to say I'm very disappointed in the sound. It's maybe 10-15% louder than stock. I would have expected more. I need more sound. I took it all the way to 7K which is louder but I need more sound at normal street levels. New mufflers or muffler delete? I want AMG level sound. I am aware the sound is different but the level of sound is what I am looking for.
Here are some pics of final product.

Looking good! I never tried X-Pipe by itself, after watching videos I knew I wanted X-Pipe + Muffler Delete so I got that done in one shot. Then after a while, the highway drone became a bit annoying for me so I put the Magnaflow mufflers (#11226) on and then it was TOO quiet lol. Though it did give it more sound during cruising speeds it was nothing compared to the raw sound of the muffler delete. Lastly, I took out the 2nd Cats/Resonators and the sound level is right in the middle, not too loud, but loud enough to know you have modded a modded exhaust.

Did you leave the stock mufflers?
