Here's a unique "angle" from my rear dashcam. Actual cabin noise is less noticeable than what the dash microphone picks up

2014 C300 4matic Sport W204
Hello All,
I am new to the Mercedes world, I just bought a 2014 C300 4Matic Sport W204. I'm having issues on whether I should buy the magna flow X pipe or are there other companies that make X pipes that I should be looking at? My second question is for my year I'm having a hard time finding a cold air intake and/or even a ram air intake..can anyone assist me?

Do you have any more pictures of the j-pipe? I'm interested in how it looks like and where it is connected to.
Also where did you get those exhaust tips from? They look much better quality than the standard eBay garbage.

The one thing I hate is when I lift my car the x-pipe looks rusted I wish I got it ceramic coated or something because there's not a spec of rust any where but the x-pipe.
straights first then the x pipe. It won't let my post a picture through the phone app.

I just got back from Europe 2 days ago, where are you?
Also thanks for the info. I remember hearing your sound clip and it was by far the best - you have facelift 3.5 but one of the best sounding, seems like everyone gets a different sound lol.

I have the 3L v 6 engine, 3.5 was in the c350 and in the 2013 direct injection engines

Has the check engine light came on?
I recently put a magnaflow xpipe on my 2012 c350 4matic coupe, and the same day the check engine light came on.
Is there a connection between the two? I'm thinking that there is.

hello! I am so new to this site but anyways... I have a 2009 c300 and I just ordered an X pipe #10791 and now I am seeing a lot of Benz have the part #10790... Does it matter?

The 10790 has 2.25" inlets/outlets while the 10791 has 2.5" inlets/outlets. The stock piping on the W204 is 2.25" so you ideally want an x-pipe that is the same size. What will happen is the gas will enter the x-pipe and expand, slowing down as a result. It will then have to build pressure in order to compress and exit into the rest of the piping. This will negatively affect the exhaust flow but, for normal street driving, the effect will be negligible so you shouldn't worry. If you are able to exchange it then you should.

Hello all was going to do a x pipe mod on my Mercedes Benz c300 2013 and the mechanic told me that maybe it can ****ed the onboard calibration and have the engine lights come out ?
Have you experienced such things in your modifications ??

You will not get any check engine lights for an x-pipe lol if you’re just swapping the resonator for an x pipe you’ll be absolutely fine, and get a nice aggressive kick to the exhaust note. Highly recommend!

Curious where everyone that's done the quad tips on w204s gets them from? I'm looking for quad "amg style" exhaust tips but definitely don't want any amg branding on them.
Any reputable companies that sell directly from a website vs just buying from some guy off ebay?
