[New Forum Member] Just picked up a 2014 C250 Sport
Hello,
Just wanted to drop by and say hello. My name is Eli and I just picked up a 2014 C250 Sport from my local Benz dealer. Its a CPO, 19k miles, previous lease/1 owner, pretty good options (have the list if anyone cares). This car is primarily for the wife as I have a few other cars so I'm usually on a few other forums:
CorvetteForum (ElisTwoCents)
ClubArmada (Invanity)
AudiZine (Invanity)
I do drive the C250 once or twice a week around town and I dig it. Anyways, I wanted to say hello as I'll be hanging out here on occasion - currently looking for 19s, CF front lip, rear diffuser and exhaust.
Here are two pics (stock except for 3M tint):

Welcome to the forum!
For rims, bolt patterns are 5x112. I recommend Avante Garde or if you have the money HRE. You're currently on the stock 17's. If you go for 19's, your speedometer will be off by about 8%.
For the rear diffuser, if you plan on getting dual exhaust with quad tips, i recommend you purchase it off RW Carbon. you can also get the CF front lip on their site as well. It is a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality/fitment.
If you're looking for a real full exhaust system, look up meisterschaft or eisenmann, but if you want the luxury of controlling drone, look up armytrix or FI exhaust. These are NOT cheap options as they will run you up to $3,000. If you want the much much much cheaper option, most people on the forum gets are x-pipes, secondary cat delete, muffler delete and/or magnaflow muffler. A member on this forum create an exhaust thread a couple weeks ago. This should satisfy your exhaust needs.

Also, if you do plan on lowering the car, look into H&R coilovers or H&R supersport springs with 5MM rear pads.

Welcome to the forums!
Wondering as it's de-badged, is this RWD or 4Matic?
You wheels will have MUCH different offsets depending on the answer!
Be cautions when buying rims to ensure the offset is correct.
You should find a great wealth of knowledge here! We are always willing to help!

I'll probably look at some AMG replicas or Niche...I really like the way the OZ Superturismos look as well. I'll keep an eye out in the FS sections for a deal on any of the parts.
Thanks for the tip on the RW Carbon, I saved the link after visiting the site and looking at their lips & rear diffusers.
I would like the quad tip look. As far as sound, I want to keep it as quiet as possible
I debadged it the same night we picked it up but it's a RWD
Thanks for the warm welcome!

I haven't swapped out my rims so havent looked into it that far yet. However, mine came with stock 18's and i do plan on sticking with 18's to minimize the speedometer error lol

Keep an eye out here in the W204 section as well, lots of for sale threads in here too.
Also, I would say you can find someone to correct the speed depending on where you are. But that's a shot in the dark.
I will be getting my Star C4 soon, and I can't really comment on how, but online SCN coding will be possible too! I will check to see if there is an option for any of that. If so, I will let you know, if there is, you will need someone indy to do it if the stealership declines.
Also, it pays to read the rules/recommendations for posting here.
One of the recommendations is to include you basic vehicle info in your sig. Helps for when you have issues and you maybe forget to mention something in original post!!
.
Happy modding!

Thanks for the info Josh - seems like speedo corrections via software would be easy but I'm not really familiar yet with these cars. So far it seems like the common wheel size to jump to are the 19s so I'll stick to that size for now.
I found some iForged wheels locally for sale but they are more of a deep dish and I'm looking for more of a concave wheel.
Been browsing a ton lately trying to get familiar

Exactly! That seems to be my experience on the forums for sale sections! When your not looking for the deal on that particular part: it's everywhere! Then when you're looking for the part: nowhere in sight or overpriced

Well good news and bad news.....After a few weeks we decided to take the C250 back in and get something a little bigger. We picked up a 2015 W212 E-Class so I'll be checking in over with those guys. The C250 was a good car, nimble but we decided it wasn't packing enough room for the kids in the back.
Thanks you guys for the warm welcome! Catch ya around
Here is a quick pic:

Congrats on the 212!
More than welcome on all the forums!
You find some nice cars around all the places and I find some good mods/ideas on all of the boards! Although issues are generally better solved in your particular vehicles section!
