Wheel fitments

Hi, I am a bit confused on the wheel fitments. I have a 2008 C350 that I just bought and I am trying to buy some new wheels for it. I was wondering if I would get any rubbing or other issues with 18x8 + 40 on the front and 18x9.5 + 48 on the rear wrapped with front 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 rear. I asked different venders and some say it will fit just fine but some say i would have to roll fenders and stretch tires. Need some help. Thanks in advance

The rears are perfect. Currently I have...

18x8.5+45 fronts on 235/40-18
and...
18x9.5+45 rears on 255/35-18

No rub on mine.

Offsets should work fine. I'm running 235/40 on the front and 265/35 rear with Bridgestone Potenza RE760s and dropped on Eibachs/stock spring pads. No rubbing.

Thanks a bunch. It wouldn't rub even when I turn the steering wheel all the way out?

None that I have experienced with my setup from above.

A friend of mine has a 2011 C300 formatic and someone had switched the rear wheels with the front. Normal set up front is 7.5J x17 and rear is 8.5J x 17. These are stock wheels and the rears where exchanged for the fronts and rubbed dearly. Any thoughts?

Is there a big fin rear diffuser on the market that will fit on a stock rear bumper? I have seen many on the market for amg bumpers but can't seem to find one for my Benz
