C-250 issues
Hey everyone.
so I'm having some issues with my 2012 c250. from time to time ( now more often than ever) my car's steering column functions won't work. I mean, I can't use my blinkers, cruise control, wipers, nothing connected to steering wheel.... and a message saying car inoperable. It comes and goes. The other issue is- on two separate occasions I've sped off from a turn or stop light and my car started sputtering as if wanting to turn off, the more gas I gave it the worse it would get

I have this same problem. My 2012 C250 will lose all electricity to steering wheel. No horn, no buttons, though turn signals are fine. It happens about once a month. Private mechanic got code for "steering column control module, communication error". Car is still under warranty but I hate taking it to the dealer. Will bring it in just before warranty expires in June 2017. All is back to normal after it sits overnight

Get the steering column module replaced, and check the fuel pump. Usually stalling/loss of power is a car that's low on fuel or has a weak fuel pump. Check for stored codes for that, the freeze frame that can be saved can be very helpful in diagnosing the source.
