C350 NITROUS
Hey guys,
So I've recently looked into adding nitrous to my car, and it seems like a cheap and effective way to add power! (if done correctly). I'm thinking of adding a 75 wet shot to my fully stock C350 motor (maybe ECU tune to change timing, remove RPM limit fuel cutoff to accommodate nitrous). What do you guys think? Has anyone done this before? Will the stock C350 motor with cast pistons and crank take a 75 shot provided everything done correctly and with the usual safety precautions (window/WOT switch)?

Possibly no reply due most Mercedes owners may not be interested in modding there cars to this extent, nitrous it would suit an American muscle car or the like and probably get loads of help and pointers on there forums.

technically, a 75 shot should not hurt the engine. Other then the fact you will need a proper system the biggest issue for you is going to be tuning the car for nitrous, tuners are few and far between. To me, just get a real tune and it probably will give the same affect as a nitrous shot, cost less, and be more reliable, plus not illegal for public roads.

a 75 shot is not 75hp at the wheels. take 18% drivetrain loss and your 75shot turns into 61hp. if you had the c300 then yah, it's said possible. Your problem is this, getting a tune.

Yea unfortunately the N/A 350 motor is maxed out unless forced induction or nitrous is used :/ haha I'm pretty bent on beating the new C43's with 362 hp. C350 with 75 shot should be sufficient since C43 is rated at 362 at the crank not wheels

They're more or less the same weight if you check online. The c350 4matic coupe is actually 100 lb lighter than the C43 sedan 4matic :P I think the main advantage the C450 has is the faster transmission but that's equivalent to a couple more horses at most
