Angry Instrument cluster failure c300

I'm experiencing major problems with my 2008 C300. It was raining extremely hard one day while I was driving on the highway and I assume I drove in large amounts of water. Well a few hours later my car started to act abnormal. The instrument cluster showed every error message on dashboard ( abs, Srs malfunction, check engine , and every light u could possibly think of) I took the car to the benz dealership the next day and they said my instrument cluster is faulty. After I left the dealership and parked the car it failed to start. The dealership was charging over 3000$ for repairs. I ordered a used instrument cluster online and tested it but I'm getting the same error messages on the dashboard. Clearly the issue isn't the instrument cluster; does anyone know what might be causing these issues??? I'm in desperate need for help. I've been car less now for 2 weeks PLEASE HELP!

I suggest visiting a competent euro car auto electrician who will check for any water ingress in your electrical system.

I think the dealer is trying to cluster f... you. Run away. Find a good Indy to find the problem.

Could you possibly claim insurance from water damage, just sounds like a problem that won’t be solved very easy.
Possibly just check the basics yourself like battery voltage and battery terminals for being tight.
