Regarding Tire Rotation ( Staggered or Non Staggered )

Hello All.. When I purchased the car in Feb the dealer told me about tire rotation every 5k miles.. ( At that time i did not know about staggered wheels and i was test driving C300 luxury and sport models )

So on my 2014 C300 Sport 4matic

My front wheel are 225 /40 R18 92 H and my rear wheels are 255 /35 R18 94 H. Currently on Continental ContiProContact All Season tires (OEM)

Can someone please tell me how will the tire rotation take place.. Is it just side to side ? Or are my wheels Staggered and they cannot be rotated.

Thanks in advance.

Assuming you have directional tires...you can't.

Simple ... can't do tire rotation since rear tires are bigger than the front ones.

Contiprocontact tires are not directional.

The most that can be done is switching left and right sides. You can't do a real rotation with staggered wheels. It's one of the downfalls.

I don't feel I'm sacrificing anything at all. Because I mainly do freeway driving, my staggered Michelin Pilot Super Sports can last for 50k miles on the fronts and 30k miles for the rears...with the ability to stop faster than most. I just need to avoid an accident 1 time for it to pay for itself.
