W204(2012 LCI) C300 4Matic Sport - Canada Brakes and Rotors (Help Needed)
So this is what I am looking for if anyone has the correct details, without me actually going to measure my actual parts.
Details:
2012 Mercedes C300 4-Matic Sport - Canadian Model
Need to replace front and rear pads.
This is where I am confused. Some websites are saying I have 295mm and some say I have 325mm.
On top of that some say I have the front pads that look like this
And some say my front pads look like this.
Then there is the debate of people saying Akebonos and Zimmermans are crap for daily uses especially if you run the car at -30Celcius, and that also goes for Ceramic Brakes.
So what do people with experience recommend.
What pad style and rotors would my vehicle have, without actually lifting the car and looking and measure the parts.
There's a ton of different sizes due to factors such as whether or not one has the sports package, AMG version etc.
They just need your VIN and they'll get you the right part. As far as whether or not one wants to cheap out a bit and get Akebonos or Zimmermans...well, PERSONALLY, I just stick with OEM. Life's too short to save $20.
Avoid ceramic. Had a bad experience once on the 407 when it was butt cold out. NEVER again for me.
Edit: To be clear the Canadian C300 Sport has the same size pads and rotors as the C350.

Since the OP was talking about the sports package, you may be right. E.g. c300 sport brakes = same as C350 brakes, but I just wanted to elaborate to keep this thread clear for future thread perusers. Cheers

I decided to get full OEM parts this week, so I'll post the exact part numbers for the canadian model of cars for pads and rotors, etc. and throw some picture up so that we don't have any confusion any more.
