Would you take your Mercedes to quick oil change place like Jiffy Lube or Tire Kingdom, etc for an oil change? Seems like a simple task but can they handle the job?

I wouldn't take a trabant to a quick oil change place.

Cheap filters, incorrect oil/fluids, over and under filled oil, incorrectly torqued oil drain plugs, upsell garbage, overall half-assed workmanship and people with absolutely zero qualification to work on a car, touching your car. for money.

No thank you.

I'd take my winter beater to one but not my C Class.

As an incentive for using MBFS, - - - the dealer's finance hombre comp'd the first two payments plus first two 10,000-mile services.

IMHO Jiffy-Lube et al has a risk factor that obviates any possible savings.

If you don't care about your car, then sure...but it seems like you do...so don't go there for oil changes.

No chance in hell, even the dealers can muck up a oil change........I'm very lucky to have a really good indy shop available to me

Find an indy benz shop and take it there if you don't want to spend the dealer price.
That's what I do.

Please don't take your Mercedes to a quick change place. I wouldn't trust a Geo to a quick change place.

I usually check Groupon and find a local shop with a deal, check the reviews first obviously. Some people only want the dealer to work on their Mercedes but I can't justify the price difference.

It's not about not having the money, it's just about paying way more than you have to for the same service. Many local shops do great work.

I barely trust the dealer to do it, do yourself a favor and find a trusted German / import car indie.

Years ago my wife took her Honda CRX there and they forgot to drain the old oil before adding new. Car smoked out the back tailpipe - that's how we noticed.
