New wheels (:
New wheels on the LCI C350, need wider rear tires next year when these ones run down though. 255 on a 9.5" wide rim is very stretched....
Anyone have experience with a 275? The wheel is pretty close to suspension components and I'm hoping if I switch to 265 or 275 (preferably 275) that it will not rub.
Wheel and tire specs:
Fastco Fast FC04 with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires
Front: 19" x 8.5" ET45 225/35/19
Rear: 19" x 9.5" ET45 255/30/19
Paid about $2500CAD for rims + tires mounted, balanced and shipped to my door.
Also got a CF Layover for the start button (:

Nice!
A lot of people have told me 275 won't work, but I would do some research because I vaguely remember seeing something.
I plan on getting 265's on my 9.5 when I buy my wheels in august.

While it may appear streched, 255mm is equal to 10 inches and is also within the tires recommended wheel size. WHen I had the stock tires, 9.5 did look too wide, however once I transitioned to the Michelin Pilot Super sports, it looked very natural due to the wider shoulders of the tire.

I have 275's on my Avant Garde M590 wheels that are 19x9.5 +48 offset with 275/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in the rear. I had slight issues with rubbing when I first got them mounted so I had a friend use a fender roller to slightly pull the rear fender lips out which solved my problem. I've heard the Michelin pilot super sports are a much wider "Boxier" tire than other brands that do have such a square or flat tread surface. If you search for which tire has a narrower pattern than the Michelin pilot super sports you should be fine.

+45 and SS are definitely going to rub.
+48 and SS at 265's will be close; 275's will sometimes rub
+48 and slimmer tires at 265 should clear, 275 idk

Thanks for the input guys! Yeah I went with conti's cause they have a rounder sidewall than michelins. However now that I can physically see the fitment as opposed to estimating, I can say that 265 conti's will definitely fit without rubbing. I'm not so much worried about rubbing against the wheel well but more against suszpension components.
