PFL reverse camera and UMI/UCI

PFL reverse camera and UMI/UCI
Yesterday I went to install a reverse camera in my 2010 with Comand NTG4 and Universal media connector.
I found the lug of the camera taken by the Universal media.
I found that even OEM there still is the same external universal media box.
I see people buying and selling some kind of video input/output add-on boxes, is there one that could help my situation?
I was looking into other options as well:
I see that the NTG4.5/4.7 has separate ports for camera and universal media.
I see people write that a whole bunch of cables has to be replaced, I wonder which those are.
Because the big square connector looks the same and two other pairs of cables look the same.
Maybe these are the display cables.
Anybody that did this conversion wants to post any details?
Is the NTG4.5 voice control better?

I continued trying to make a reverse camera work. I bought the Chinese made reverse camera and the right angle fakra connector.
I tested the camera with my TV, it works and must be NTSC, I don't think my TV can display it otherwise.
I turned the camera on in the engineering menu, tried each of the 4 selections.
I tried turning off the external video
I tried de activating UCI.
I turned the NTG4 off and back on each time.
What bothers me is that there is no reaction from the NTG. Meaning, If when I put it in reverse, the screen would turn black, I would at least know that the NTG is switching modes, but does not get video.
But nothing is happening when I put the car in reverse.
Of course, I disconnected the UCI at the FAKRA and plugged in the camera instead.
I looked at this under Xentry, but while I see the settings, my rig doesn't have editing.
Looks like I have to buy a set with Vediamo or Monaco.
