Take it from a police officer...don’t drive like a jackwagon and we won’t even notice you. I don’t know what the speed limit was on the road they clocked you, but I can guarantee it was nowhere near 100mph..

You have nobody to blame but yourself. Accountability is the only way you’ll make it through life. Not blaming others or inatimate objects.

I would like to amend your sentence: "I will from now on be a responsible person, driving by the rules for safety and take other road users into account, seeing it could harm others or bring unwanted expenses to other road users and/or property of others, I think this is the way to go for me."

Note:Responsibility is to live with respect to others, so that in the case something really goes wrong by accident, it can be considered an accident and not negligence. A responsible person is recognised by his behaviour, not claiming responsibility after the fact.

I think after all this you set to go to be a responsible citizen.

To me it does, I am somewhat responsible. You’re not a professor or some genius, take it easy.

OP: read this thread and don’t worry how you’re trending

also research “implied malice and street racing” and consider how your lack of restraint in your car in the future can cost your dad his livelihood and retirement.
