Take it from a police officer...don’t drive like a jackwagon and we won’t even notice you. I don’t know what the speed limit was on the road they clocked you, but I can guarantee it was nowhere near 100mph..

I would like to amend your sentence: "I will from now on be a responsible person, driving by the rules for safety and take other road users into account, seeing it could harm others or bring unwanted expenses to other road users and/or property of others, I think this is the way to go for me."
Note:Responsibility is to live with respect to others, so that in the case something really goes wrong by accident, it can be considered an accident and not negligence. A responsible person is recognised by his behaviour, not claiming responsibility after the fact.
I think after all this you set to go to be a responsible citizen.
