seat ripped...
so this weekend I saw my seat had a 5" rip on the seam, I don't understand how a 6 year old car has this issues my 15 year old Volvo has better quality seats.
dealership price $526 CAD!!!!!!
any one find one cheaper? My next option is finding a shop and hope to work a deal on doing the full interior in real leather not this **** MBtex.
next time I'm sticking to the don't buy below an E class motto.

You can probably find a car upholstery shop that can fix that section for much less than what the dealer is trying to charge.

My driver side bottom seat cushion had rip as well. Replaced with 2014 passenger side bottom cushion that I found from ebay for $150 USD.
Your best option would be finding descent used one from ebay too.
Part# is 20491091469D88.

You should not pay more than $300 for the seat cover at the dealership. You cn just buy the seat cover and replace it yourself. Just do a search here and it was discussed a ot of times already. I wont even consider leather anymore. I like the mb text better for durability and wrinkle free years. It is a smal rice to pay rather than seeing a very wrinkly leather seat.

Ya I'm defiantly doing this myself. I just need to find a good conditioned seat cover.
I prefer leather with care it looks better.
I found 2 C63 leather covers for 500$ I might buy them and swap both sides. There's a little wear on the one bolster but I might get a better deal. I'd rather wear then a massive rip.
So many rip off parts stores in Canada . I've seen other posts where people paid 290$Cad for a seat cover

My driver seat is horrible but my car has quite the miles on it. Passenger seat was perfect for the longest time till my 300 pound friend sat in it and one seam let go.. I dont even want to pay more then 150$ for a bottom part because it will just faill again, when I find a good deal on them I will take it to an upholster and get the seams reinforced.

I paid $250 USD for the OEM seat cover with the seat heater attached off getmercedesparts.com. Watched a youtube vid to take the seat out and remove the bottom cushion. Took some time and struggle, but well worth the savings. MB dealership wanted $650 to replace the bottom part of the seat out of warranty, and a local upholstery shop wanted $550 to stitch one together out of scratch.
