It's a 2008 C300 Luxury sedan. However, according to my research, the front grill represents a sport version of the vehicle. I wonder if I go to a local dealership tomorrow, whether they can tell me, by way of VIN number, the standard equip and option on the car when it was new?

How much is an extra benz key fob? The seller told me he has only one key fob.

I can't really tell what pkg 1 or pkg 2 really means (at least not for 2008 model)...could someone shine some light on me? Doesn't look to me the rear seat is 60/40 split.

 

I have a 2009 C300 luxury sedan. I too only have one key fob. When I went to my local Mercedes dealership they said $250 for a new one.

A simple search and I fund thjis from an Autoblog article for the 2008 model year: Package P1, standard on the C350, contains the satellite radio, heated seats, autodimming lamps, folding mirrors, a garage door opener and rain-sensing wipers. Package P2 adds bi-xenon headlamps, cornering fog lamps, a split folding rear seat for cargo versatility, and a rear sunshade.

The listing just states it is a luxury sedan not that it is the luxury model. Looks like the Sport model to me, especially with those wheels. However, wheels are easy to change.

It does not look like the seats fold down.It also states "leather", but those are MBTex seats.

Congrats! It's definitely not the Luxury trim because it has the Sport Grille, Sport Front Bumper, and Sport Rims.

Got a couple of questions on the listing...perhaps, I am not reading it right?

731 - TRIM PIECES - WOOD BURRED WALNUT VENEER - Hmmm, the car's interior is not decorated with wood walnut veneer?

There is no mentioning of Bi-Xenon headlamps, 60/40 rear folding seats or rear sunshade...so can I safely assume it has no pkg 2?

 

Probably questions you should have asked BEFORE you bid on it. It says it has leather too, but those seats are not leather either.

 

Thanks. I know what you mean but there are things I am willing to look past. I knew from the first sight, it's not leather.

Problem with VIN decoder websites is that many of the items it lists are inaccurate. You have to use EPC to be completely accurate.
