Here is mine after the install, 24 hours past to let the mercedes sealant dry. I did two videos, one is the very first start, second is warm start. DISCLAIMER: Please excuse my language...just a reaction to the noise and failure to start from cold start after install.

Lol thanks. Well today I checked on her, last night the check engine light went away after driving it for a few miles to the nearest autozone to pickup a few things. The car runs great, accelerates like its very angry. Also the noise is gone. High rev RPM to about 1500ish and then goes back down to around 800 at cold start, but other than that...everything seems good. Used a diag tool to scan for codes and got 0.
Here's a video of the 2nd day cold start. I had to upload it to youtube because of file size.

Sounds good - glad you had success!
Mine was throwing p0346 as a perm / pending code until this fix. The Misses has put a few miles on it over the last few days so I'll pull the codes when she gets back to the house this evening again.
I think my problem may lie deeper..

mine was throwing p0193 fuel rail pressure sensor circuit. It went away after driving a few miles. If anyone would like to chime in as to what that is and what the beep and clicking sound is at the end when I shut the car off, that would be great.

Changed the spark plugs because it was taking about 3+ seconds to crank over. Had the battery and starter tested and they came back fine.
Still no solution for the original problem. Frustration city!

how are you engine oil levels? Check the oil filter maybe and see if there is something maybe blocking the oil?

It's an interesting thought. I'm not sure how to test that. Oil levels are and have been fine though.
Also, plugs didn't fix the 3seconds+ crank time... so, now I get to buy 6 ignition coils!

Don't throw parts at it. Long cranking is usually a fuel issue or a bad cam position sensor or timing issue. Diagnose it properly. 6 coils won't do anything different for a long crank.
