2008 C300 Trunk Lip Spoiler
My spoiler that I bought ages ago started to unfortunately peel, and figured that it would be easier for me to simply replace the spoiler itself. My question is two fold:
Since I added silicone adhesive along with the tape for safety measures, what are the best practices for safely removing the old spoiler?
Secondly, where do you guys recommend getting spoilers that are of high structure and paint quality? Is CarID okay? I would like the following style: https://www.carid.com/2008-mercedes-...parentsubmodel[]=SUBMODEL|Sedan
Thanks!

I purchased this painted lip spoiler for my W211 from eBay Seller mitdto2010 and the fit and finish is excellent.
Second pic below is before installation and just sitting on the decklid.
You tell them the color code of your car and they match the paint - came out perfect and the price can't be beat.
I think they have fitment for your vehicle.

Thanks for the tip! My problem was that the clear coat began to peel off after about 4 years. How long have you had yours, and is there a way to determine that it will last?

I wound up purchasing mine from JBSpeed. So far, it looks great! Removing the previous spoiler and cleaning the foam double-sided 3M tape off was an enormous pain though.
