2011 C300
2011 C300 Sunroof Pulsates when Closing
I've got a 2011 C300 and the sunroof pulsates when closing. It moves perfectly fine and smoothly when opening. I cleaned and lubricated the tracks and it did not make a difference.

Please help

Needs to be recalibrated. A good Indy can do it.

It might be. I am not 100% sure. When I had this issue my mechanic fixed it quickly. Only charged me $20!

No, the fix for this is very lengthy and includes dropping the headliner. (not recommended)

There are torx? screws that need to be tightened.

Just live with it! It's a known issue that plagues several MB models.

You know what, you're right I got a great deal on this car and it's been great. I don't have to nitpick small things like this. I can definitely still enjoy the sunroof just minor inconveniences are okay!!

I would have it looked at. It might be a quick fix like mine was. Why live with it if it can be fixed.

My 08 300 sunroof started pulsating when closing just a few months after I took delivery of the car. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Told me that it required a software update. Has operated OK since then.
