Desperately Need Help with P0017 and P0002

Hey all. I just joined, so I hope I'm in the right sub-category. I have a 2012 C250 that I bought in great condition with low mileage about 2 yrs ago. A few weeks ago it stopped running. It cranks but won't turn over. I ran a diagnostic on it and I got 5 codes....
P0340, P0365, P2610, P0017, P0002. I changed the camshaft positon sensors (intake and exhaust) this got rid of the first 3 codes. But I can't figure out what fix needs to be done to resolve the last 2.

P0017 - camshaft position crankshaft position correlation Bank 1 sensor b
P0002 - fuel volume control regulator circuit range / performance.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

P0002, do you have any fuel pressure?

P0017 looks like the camshaft and crankshaft sensors are out of sync.. Since you did the camshaft sensors, are there any position adjustments on them? If not, then maybe the crankshaft sensor is bad.

Do you have access to a scanner that gives live data.. that would help to isolate it.

Thanks for the advice. Can an average person do this?

Thanks. Originally thought this might be the main issue so I bought a new crankshaft position sensor a few weeks ago. Will try to install it and see if that works.

With the exception of P2610 those are the codes I had when my chain tensioner failed and the chain came off the cams.

Wow, just like my codes. My engine made a lot of noise just before it stopped running. It might have been the chain. How did you resolve this?

Yep mine did too, it started knocking then died just a few seconds later.

Initially my mechanic was afraid there would be engine damage but a leak down test showed the engine was okay. Even so they had to replace all of the timing components since the chain had a lot of slack for a while apparently.

It's not going to be a cheap repair, just to warn you. Probably 6k+ at the dealer, maybe a bit cheaper if you have a mechanic you trust.

After reading both your replies and watching a few videos online about timing chain tensioner on MB, I am pretty sure thats the problem. Now to find a mechanic that won't break my wallet.

Thanks Ronin_Dax

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. As of now, ( i did a good amount of research online) I'm pretty sure it's the timing chain.

Thanks dboyrusky

Sorry for posting to old thread, I can't send PM to griff2 nyc so would like to ask here. I have same problem with same codes and would like to ask or this problem because of timing chain? And how much it cost you to repair it?
