Has anyone got the 2012 (or younger) release DVD APS NTG4?
It is a purple colour coded DVD which is a APS COMAND DVD.
The version I am after has part number A2048279059. 2012 release. NTG4
If you have one of these and are willing to "share", please message me.

Hi there. Please see this doc Navigation CDs & DVDs on COMAND. The DVD you're after is "J3" and is the most current DVD for Australia. See footnote in this doc...


You'll see quite a number of threads in the forums re after market navigation for this reason. Why pay the dealer to update your maps and still be 7 years behind! I'm in a similar situation.

Hi, yeah, I had seen that before, during my searches. My maps were installed with a 2011 DVD.
I was hoping someone actually had a car with the a physical 2012 DVD in their glovebox that I could borrow. Even an ISO image of it would be great.

Seems like not much sharing goes on in AUS compared to USA/Europe as Lots of ISO's out there via Torrent

Even with a DVD/ISO, you still need an activation code, which I believe is a hash based on your VIN. Aussie market is way smaller, so less collaboration takes place I guess.

This version is the last one that does not need any code. After this one you need to upgrade to a newer one that does need a code..

No code so you’re lucky. I see them on eBay every now and then. Maybe set up an eBay alert to your email.
