C300 Help Please - Fender bender, no-start
Need help!!! 2009 C300 4Matic Sport will not start after battery R&R?
Trying to help out my son, this is his car. He had a pretty good fender bender and hit a Jeep from behind. Damage to the right side front end, hood, light, radiator, etc. His car still started and was drive able but had it towed to the shop. They removed the battery before I got there due to an interior light on? Anyway, had them replace the battery so we could be sure there was no engine damage. Nothing appears bad but looking at $ 8-9K to fix all the damage so we want to be sure it still runs okay. Since the battery was put back in the car it will not start and has all the symptoms of a bad ESL. We checked all fuses, removed the pre fuse box near the battery and it all checks good with a meter. What could removing and replacing a battery do to cause this issue? The accident did not cause it unless it took removing the battery to cause it? Also, no airbag deploy during the accident! The jeep fender went over the top of the MB fender pushing in the radiator, hood, R light, etc.
