2008-2012 C300 sport and have ?s
Hello all new to Mercedes Benz. Want to get a nice used C 300 Sport 4 matic and need to know what to look out about these cars. Cars that I am also looking at are Infiniti G37x, Volvo AWD S80 V8, Lexis IS 250 AWD, or Lincoln MKZ or MKS AWD and possibly Ford SHO AWD. I know it’s a lot of cars. Also include around same year Acura TL SHAWD

Your best choice would be the 2012 C300 4MATIC Sport. Compared to the 2008-2011 lineup, it has the updated facelift for both interiors and exteriors and it has the reliable V6 M272 engine. That's what I ended up buying after lots of research and I couldn't be happier. If well maintained, these cars will last a long time and they don't have a lot of complicated systems that will prove a costly nightmare to maintain and repair.
Thank you very much for the reply. I was beginning to think no one would answer. I will narrow my search to 2012 and make sure to look for one or two owner that had been maintained. I am just wondering about the Mercedes compared to other cars as far as reliability and to work on? I have a Saab now and I wrench in that so.

2010 C300 sport
A Ford SHO in really good condition with low mileage would be hard to pass up. I would say the performance is better.
The C300 is a good car but lacks a little in the performance department. I have a 2010 6 speed with a manual gearbox. I have put a OE tune in it which helped wake it up. I enjoy driving it.

2012 C300 4MATIC Sport
The 2013 2014 C300 and C350 have the M276 engine which didn't prove too reliable. It suffers from a couple of significant problems. A bit of research will give you all the info on this.
