90K miles with original brake pads. Unusual?
I recently had my 90K service and my mechanic told me my brake pads are still OK and replacements aren't necessary yet. The brakes don't squeal and there is no warning indicator observed.on the dash.
I remember "back in the day" when I'd be lucky to get 60K on the original pads, so I'm curious if 90K or more is "unusual" for modern brakepads or am I just lucky?

How'm I doing?
ez
I try to coast to the light or intersection as long as possible and then apply the brakes when required.
