Need ESP Control Unit?

Hey guys,

I keep getting the “ESC inoperative see operators manual” on my 2010 C350.

After taking it to a shop, I got these codes:

5001 (history) Control Unit N30/4 (electronic stability program control unit) internal fault

7266 (history) ESP not available

5506 (current/history) check component S9/1 (brake light switch)

The mechanic told me I need to replace my ESP control unit.

Do you guys recommend a place where I can find one for a decent price?

Is this problem worth fixing considering I want to sell the vehicle?

Thanks in advance!

You could go on the official mercedes website on the parts store, type in vin and maybe itll show.

Or you can call your dealer and ask how much is the module and also what the part number is.

I found this number on my original one under the hood: A2045455132

after googling, it’s showing up as a ABS Module, so after looking at the pics it looks like the ESP is connected to the ABS module and it’s much easier to find it now.

Does anybody know if the number on my EMP has to match the replacement one?

I found a used abs module and the number on the black emp unit is different but the shop is saying it’s compatible with my 2010 C350.

not a merc
Easy! Go to MB parts with your vin number and they will tell you if part is valid.
Good luck with programming it 👍
Vin change and valve calibration needs to be done

I had the same N30/4 fault and lack of power steering once driving about 30kph.... Turned out it was because I covered the rain/light sensor on the dash. Not even kidding, took the bit of paper I accidently had covered it with and fixed.
