Motor Mounts and Related Torque Specs
Hi all. My wife has a 2010 C300 4matic. I'm trying to finish up replacing the motor mounts and need some torque specs that I couldn't find online. I need the torque specs for the 4 16mm steering rack bolts and the bolt that secures (compresses) the spline sleeve for the steering shaft at the steering rack. Yes, I dropped the steering rack and I'll explain in the DIY I'll post in a few days. Hate to guess on these bolts! Thanks in advance!
btw, this job was a big PIA. I couldn't find any DIY's and I looked hard. I could find some that were close. But since this has the extra plumbing for the AWD, it is more involved. I'll be posting a DIY in a few days. I already have it partially written.

the steering clamp thing that stops the nut from turning? 30nm on my w203. the other ones.. i cant find a wis document on how to remove the steering rack(?)werid
The WIS method of replacing mounts does not mention the steering rack though.. maybe i have the incorrect document for your vehicle?
An engine mount wrench set is mentioned... im guessing you needed some special offset spanner/socket attachment?

Thanks for posting those installation instructions. Close to what I did. I did drop the steering rack and was looking for those torque specs. I found the specs for the 4 steering rack bolts on the W203 (63 ft lbs) in another thread and went with those. If anyone can confirm, that would be great.
