Recently I changed my oil (Mann Filter & Mobile 1 0W-40) and sent it in for a look over to Blackstone Labs. This was party because I do not drive the car much at all anymore and it had the same oil for the past 3 years in the car. I went about 4K miles during that period so I wanted to see what info the oil held. I did a quick search but I did not see if many people actually sent their oil in for testing. For the ones that did, I wanted to know if their engine's also showed a higher amount of iron in the oil? Also, if there was anything else that was not within the proper ranges in their oil?
Here is my report if anyone is interested in what data is shown during an oil analysis.
