this seems like the best way to keep the engine oil from swamping the intake track

I have been reading the several threads mentioned here after doing an unrelated service to my X166 and stumbling into the stored P06DA00 code.

I did a bunch of suspension work and definitely noticed a difference in take-off, where it used to be sluggish before. I reluctantly attributed this to transmission / suspension / electronics, since the list of serices I performed was lenthy, including new spark plugs, struts and shocks, air springs, control arm bushings, as well as trans / transfer / diff fluids and adaptation value resets.

Maybe this was asked before, it is possible I missed the info as I started skimming the posts after a while... I read in the posts that there is no oil pressure sensor - makes sense that I was not able to find a way to check it with my Launch tablet, even after checking menu after menu. How does one check the oil pressure on the M276?

look near the base of the oil filter, you'll find a screw on plug where you can thread an oil pressure gauge.

You can go fancy and use a pressure transducer to record pressure vs. Rpm.

Regulated Max is ~60Psi.

Be careful not to strip the plug. It is now going to be a pain to remove!
