Help Find: Hood Star Emblem with Blue Laurel Wreath
As stated, please help me find where I can buy the Hood Star Emblem as shown in the picture below..
My car is a 2012 C250 Luxury Model whose hood emblem seems that someone fell in love with last night and they decided they must have it. Luckily no damage was done during the removal.
For its replacement I've seen that the one with a plain chrome base is available but I rather like the look of the one below with the Blue Laurel Wreath Please advise if you know where I can purchase one for my model and year.
I've never seen that style, but I like that - it's a nice, subtle change from the basic, plain chrome one. Hopefully someone else can chime in with advice or a part number.
The picture came from Google and from Amazon. Unfortunately the Amazon link states applicability for the W204 models but that's not true, specially if you look a the model years fitment down the page. As I found in other references it seems prior models can accept the this emblem.

S-class emblems will fit w204. So look for those as well.
What year(s) S-Class in particular??
The Amazon link that I gave shows that the emblem fits, among others, the S-Class but when you enter the car model information to corroborate fitment, it clearly states that it will NOT fit the W204.

I know w221 and w222 are just the same. I am sure about the w222 as the black flat emblem I have on my car came from a wrecked w222. Here I found your emblem on ebay. As long as it is the clip type it should work as those are interchangeable with every MB cars. The new ones are now just push-in type like the BMWs.

The MB parts catalog for 2012 C250 Luxury indicates that the original ornament has a part number 221 880 00 86. "221" would be S Class cars. It would seem that all the 221 hood ornaments would fit the W204 Luxury models. However, the W204 Base and Sport models have a different hood, grill, and ornament, so the above ornament would not fit those cars.
