2013 C350 Fuel Composition Sensor "Flex fuel sensor"
My 2013 C350 is giving me the P0179 code. (fuel composition sensor high input)
Has anyone changed this sensor ?
Where is it located ?
Anyone have a part number ?
Thanks,
Jeff
Turned out to be water collecting in my driver’s side floorboard after days of rain. The water migrated into the connector of the wires going to the flex fuel sensor. My scanner said the sensor was shorting to ground. When I disconnected the connector, water came out. I blew everything out with compressed air and reconnected everything. I cleared the codes and it didn’t come back. I will post some pics soon.

P 0178 code, plus P062B - Internal Control Module Fuel Injector Control Performance. I hope it's just a matter of details of the wires but I'm worried I may have to replace the connector blocks and modules themselves. I just saw your post and haven't taken out the floorboards yet to see.
Can you post pictures of the connectors you had to dry out?
