The MY2005 cars came out in like May, dude. They are W203.

W204 is MY2007. It will come out in 2006, is the current thinking.

It's coming out in 2007, thought it will probably start being sold at the end of 2006. Search the forum for pics

2005 has a greatly "refreshed" interior and you get the AMG kit on the sport models. You have a 2000 w202, and I had a 1997 w202; the changes from my year w202 to yours would have been insignificant if you compare the changes in the 2001-2004 to the 2005 w203.

I wouldn't really wait. I like my w203 a lot more than my old w202 although there are some things lacking from my w203 that my w202 had (such as full power seats and split rears). The power in a C280 and C230K to me seems similar. Yes, you lose the "growl" but speed and acceleration seems to be the same if not better. Also, the w203 handles much better imo. The H/K system (problems and all) is much better than my old Bose system in the w202. And the dual climate control is a plus (although it's not digital).

If you go with a 2006, you'll have the option of the C350. But, you'll also have the very last w203's right before w204's...

If you waited, the perfect time to get a w204 would be the 2008 model year. MB's are always pretty bad (well, they have more problems) their first production year, so the 2007 models wouldn't be such a great choice.

Yes it is. You will now get a dual sliding sunroof kinda like the 2 panel one in the new Maxima. This will allow for indidual passenger/driver control of their own panel. 4 zone climate control is now std as well as digital control on all 4 corners. Paid maintenance has also been expanded to include rotors, pads, wipers, etc. For more detailed posted info STFF.

You are so right. So many ppl had problems with their 2001 W203s. Till now, my 04 Sport is pefect.
