C250 CDI W204 Working temp

Hey guys

Just got my W204 C250 CDI Sport today and ready to join your fancy club here.

I got a question. The working temp for my c class seems to be around 80 to 85 ish. Hovers above these numbers. Is that normal? I am asking since the Kia Soul I had was stone at 85 degrees and would never go back and forth.

Let me know pls, thanks!

Daniel

My 220 never varies once it is warmed up.
How fast does it get there ?
If it is slow then the thermostat is probably faulty

Even with a new thermostat they are not quick due to a large 10 L coolant capacity , probably 'over engineered' to cope with a day on the Autobahn !

its sometimes steady at 90. I think after racing it initiates the cooling system actively and may drop to 80 to get back to 90 eventually. Maybe the sensor is getting tired.

I checked some of 0-100 vids on YT lol seems that the temp there is also hovering on c250 cdis. So lets just say its normal. I mean it would be much worse if it would hover from 90 to 100 right?😁
